Universidad Cientifica del Sur Law School is pleased to organize the 22nd Annual Colloquium of the Academy of Environmental Law of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (ICUN) in our main campus located in Lima, Peru. We will have the participation of hundreds of environmental law academics and professionals from five continents to put on the agenda the issue of sustainable development, climate change and the fight against the decline of biodiversity.

Following the 22nd IUCN Academy of Environmental Law Colloquium, we are pleased to invite participants to an exclusive academic extension program: the Academy of Peruvian Environmental Law.
This five-day experience (two days in Lima and three in Iquitos, in the heart of the Amazon) offers a unique blend of academic learning and field-based engagement. Participants will explore key environmental legal issues in Peru—one of the world’s most biodiverse countries—while connecting with leading national and international experts in environmental law, policy, and sustainability.
This program is ideal for legal scholars, environmental practitioners and students looking to deepen their understanding of environmental law in action in the Global South.
